Why do you think vomit was acidic? Briefly discuss what cells/tissues could be damaged if exposed to vomit on regular basis.

Due to stomach acid mixing with the food ingested, it comes back up with stomach acid, making it acidic. The esophagus and enamel on teeth will end up damaged if frequent vomiting becomes an issue as the acidity will start to break down tissue with prolonged exposure.
