Answer:

First Train = 66miles/hour

Second Train=87miles/hour

Explanation:

According to the Question,

  • Given That, Two trains leave Towns 612 miles apart at the same time and travel towards each other. one train travels 21 miles/hour faster than the other. When To train Runs Towards Each Other Then The Speed Of train is Added.

Let, Speed of The First Train be X .

So, The Speed of the Second Train will be X+21 .

  • Now, If they Meet in 4 hours. We Know, Speed x Time = Distance, On applying this formula we get

612/4 = X + (X+21)

153 = 2x+21

2x = 132

x=66 Now, Put This Value,We get

Speed of The First Train be X=66miles/hour .

And, The Speed of the Second Train will be X+21 ⇔ 66+21 = 87miles/hour.
