MINUTES, AND HOURS

This is because our universe is constantly changing. From one moment to the next, it is always in motion.

We have to thank the Babylonians for it. They used the sexagesimal (Latin for 60) system for time and for astronomy (which has always been linked closely with time) calculations. This is also the reason a circle has 360 degrees, each with 60 minutes and each of those has 60 seconds [1].

Days and hours are commonly used for measuring time because they provide a more convenient and human-friendly way to express durations. Seconds are often too small a unit for practical use, and larger units like days and hours make it easier to communicate and comprehend time intervals in everyday life, from scheduling appointments to planning activities.
