Answer: True

Some examples

  • 30+150 = 180
  • 45+135 = 180
  • 10+170 = 180

Supplementary angles always add to 180 degrees. In the first example, 30° is acute while 150° is obtuse. The two angles can be glued together to get a straight line.

Acute means angle < 90

Obtuse means angle > 90
