Answer: choice C.)

the lines are neither parallel nor perpendicular

Explanation:

To find out, we must find slopes of the two lines.

(4,-3)

(-8,0)

Slope m = (-3 - 0)/4 - -8)

m = -3/12 = -1/4

,,

(-1,-1) and (-2, 6)

Slope k = (-1 - 6)/(-1 - -2)

k = -7/1 = -7

The slopes are not equal and they are not negative reciprocals of each other.

Therefore the lines are neither parallel nor perpendicular.
