howdy! hope youre having a good day!

to find the volume of each acid, you need to know the density of the acid, as the volume can be calculated using the formula:

Volume (mL) = Mass (grams) / Density (g/mL)

now lets find the volume for hydrochloric acid

density of hydrochloric acid is approximately 1.18 g/mL (at room temperature).

Mass = 10 grams

Volume (mL) = 10 grams / 1.18 g/mL ≈ 8.47 mL

the volume of 10 grams of hydrochloric acid is 8.47 mL.

now the volume for sulfuric acid

density of sulfuric acid is approximately 1.84 g/mL (at room temperature).

Mass = 10 grams

Volume (mL) = 10 grams / 1.84 g/mL ≈ 5.43 mL

the volume of 10 grams of sulfuric acid is approximately 5.43 mL.
