Answer :

  • f(3) = -8
  • f(0) = 1

Given :

  • f(n) = ( - 2) {}^(n)

To find :

  • f(3)

  • f(0)

Solution :

In the given function, n is the indices of the base (-2).

Plugging in the value of n as 3,

  • f(3) = ( - 2) {}^(3)

  • f(3) = - 2 * - 2 * - 2

  • f(3) = - 8

Thus, f(3) = -8.

Plugging in the value of n as 0,

  • f(0) = ( - 2) {}^(0)

  • f(0) = 1

Thus, f(0) = 1.
