6g² + 2g - 8

Explanation:

These are simple, just tedious.

You have to multiply each term in the first parentheses by each term in the second. It ends up looking like this:

2g(3g + 4) - 2(3g +4)

Do you know how do each of those multiplications? It should come out like this:

6g² + 8g - 6g - 8

Did you follow that? Good, then now just "combine like terms," which in this one is just the two "g" terms in the middle:

6g² + (8g -6g) - 8 Which becomes:

6g² + 2g - 8

And that's the answer. Just be careful with signs on these!
