Answer:

.05

Explanation:

First minus the 8 from both sizes to get

3/4x = 23-8 (15)

Next Multiply 15 by 4x to isolate the x

3=15(4x)

3= 60x

Then divide 3 by 60

3/60 1/20 = .05

Answer:x=20

Explanation:

you first subtract the 8 from both sides

3/4x=15

after you have done that you have to get rid of your x but it is in fraction from so you would have to multiply by the reciprocal which is 4/3 and you multiply by 4 and divide by 3 on the 15

15x4=60

60/3=20
