Answer:

h = 1/2gt^2

Is the formula for the height of a free falling object.

Put in the numbers:

h = 1/2*9.8 (gravitational constant) * 10^2

h=490 meters.

Please note that the gravitational constant is approximate, you could also use a more specific value or 10
