Answer:

y = 2x - 4

Explanation:

if m = 2

and if (x,y) = (3,2)

then:

y = mx + b 2 = 2(3)+b

y = 2x - 4 2 = 6+b

-6 -6 .

-4 = b

Does that work?

Answer:

y = 2x - 4

Explanation:

y = mx + b

m = 2; (x, y) = (3, 2); x = 3; y = 2; solve for b.

2 = 2 × 3 + b

b = -4

y = mx + b

y = 2x + b

y = 2x - 4
