2|4-n|=-3n it equals -8 but I don't understand how can anyone explain it to me

4-n = -3n/2

-n+3n/2 = -4

n/2 = -4

n = -8

Explanation:

1- Let's divide two sides by 2 first

|4-n|=-3n/2

2- If we take the absolute of both negative and positive, the result will be positive. However, we should be careful that there is n on both sides.So, the sign should not conflict.

Let's assume inside of the absolute is positive:

4-n = -3n/2

-n+3n/2 = -4

n/2 = -4

n = -8

3- Check if it's actually positive

4-(-8) = 12
