to solve this equation *which I believe is -8(x-4)-3<5* we need to apply what the distributive property that basically means -8(x-4) becomes -8* x and -8*-4 so it will look like this -8*x= -8x -8* -4=32 then we have to combine like terms after that subtract 29 to isolate the variable then lastly divide both sides by -8 * you got to flip the inequality since were dividing by a negative number* and that's how I got my awnser.
