Y and x vary directly. If the constant of variation is 4 , then what is the value of x when y=6? Enter your answer as a decimal rounded to the nearest tenth.

x = 1.5

The equation is:

y = Kx

K is constant, which is 4

6 = 4x

6/4 = x

x = 1.5
