sin(62) = 18/x
This is the correct answer because we are using sin in the equation. We are looking for x which is the hypotenuse. This cancels out tan because tan uses opposite and adjacent only. The length given is opposite of the angle and we know this because the angle isn’t made up of the known side but instead is opposite. Sin uses opposite and hypotenuse. Sin = opposite / hypotenuse, therefore the second option is correct.

opposite side = 18

hypotenuse = x

sin(angle) = opposite/hypotenuse

sin(62) = 18/x

The answer is choice B
