5n-7 -5=3n

1. Start the equation by doing the opposite of -7 which is +7 and you gotta do it to both sides not the variables but the integers.

2. Once you do your equation, it should look like this: 5n=3n+2

3. Then you do the opposite of 3n just like the integers but now the variables which will be -3n which cancels out the 3n and -3n-5n would be 2n

4. Your equation should look like this after you evaluate both variables: 2n=+2

5. Divide them which will give you X=1
