Explanation:

For this question, the domain is just the set of values in the oval marked 'domain', and similarly, the range is just the set of values in the oval marked 'range'.

The way you write it out is list each number from smallest to biggest, with a comma separating each one, and put them in the 'squiggly' brackets as you called them.

So in the domain oval we have: 1 and 4 and 2. Put these in order, in the squiggly brackets, with commas, to get the answer for the domain: { 1, 2, 4 }

In the range oval we have: 2 and 5 and -5 and 0. Put these in order, in the squiggly brackets, with commas, to get the answer for the range: { -5, 0, 2, 5 }
