1. Look at first and second number after comma (in bracket i write first different number of those numbers, after comma or before).:

3.4(8)1 > 3.4(2), because 8 is greater than 2.

4.(9) > 4.(8)94, because 9 is greater than 8.

(3).84 > (2).974, because 3 is greater than 2.

2.(0)4 < 2.(4)5, because 4 is bigger than 0.

If you want to do it easier you can add 0’s to get same length number, for example:

3.429 ? 3.42

1. Add zero:

3.(429) > 3.(420)

429 is bigger than 420.
