Claire has a 600 centimeter long vegetable garden. What is the length of the garden in m and km respectively ?

The length of the garden is 600 cm / or / 6 m / or / 0.006 km

Explanation:

First, we need some knowledge for this problem:

1) 1 meter is 100 centimeters.

2) 1 kilometer is 100000 centimeters.

We need to divide the length of the vegetable garden (600 cm), by whatever the value is in both of the beforehand knowledge. Such as, if 1 matter is 100 centimeters, 6 meters is 600 centimeters. I decided 600 cm by 100 cm, equaling 6, then multiplied it by 1 m. Do the same thing for kilometer.
