Can someone help me with this maths question? workings would be appreciated :]

Adrian, Ben and Charlie share some sweets in the ratio 8:5:10
Charlie got 20 more sweets than Adrian.

Work out the total amount of sweets.

total amount of sweets=230

Explanation:

ratio=8:5:10

total ratio=8+5+10

=23

Adrian=x

Charlie= x+20

Ben=1/2×(x+20)

Charlie's share

10/23×(x+20+x+(1/2×x+20))=x+20

10/23×(x+20+x+(x+20/2))=x+20

10/23×(x+20+x+x+20/2)=x+20

10/23×(2(x+20)+(2×x)+(x+20/2)/2=x+20

10/23×(2x+40+2x+x+20)/2=x+20

10/23×(2x+2x+x+40+20)/2=x+20

10/23×(5x+60)/2=x+20

50x+600/46=x+20

50x+600=46(x+20)

50x+600=46x+920

50x-46x=920-600

4x=320

4x/4=320/4

x=80

Total amount of sweet

x+x+20+1/2(x+20)

80+80+20+1/2(80+20)
