Eukaryotic cells are cells that contain a nucleus and cell organelles, which are around membrane-bound organelles. Their function is to produce energy in the form of ATP for growth + development, regulation cell metabolism, reproduction, and eliminating waste and maintaining cell processes. Some examples of eukaryotic cells are fungi, plants, protists, animal cells, and plant cells.
