The calculated area of the trapezium is 22 square units

How to determine the area of trapezium

From the question, we have the following parameters that can be used in our computation:

The trapezium

The area is calculated as

Area = 1/2 * Sum of parallel sides * Height

Where, we have

Parallel sides = 4 and 7 units

Height = 4 units

Substitute the known values into the equation

Area = 1/2 * (4 + 7) * 4

Evaluate

Area = 22

Hence, the area is 22 square units
