Here are some examples of independent events.

  • Two coins flipping some distance away from each other.
  • Two rolls of the same number cube.
  • Drawing two cards from a deck, where replacement is made (i.e. the first card is put back or it is replaced).

In these examples, each event does not change the probability of another event. Each event is fully separate.
