Use perfect square rule to factor
(x-5)(x-5)=0
Both parts are the same when set = to 0 so
x=5

Answer:

x=5

Explanation:

two numbers that have a sum of -10 and a product of 25 are -5 and -5.

So the factored form is (x-5)(x-5) aka (x-5)^2, and so we set (x-5)^2 = 0 for the solution, x - 5 = 0, so x = 5.
