y=4

the common ratio between the number sequence is 4

i solved it by taking 512 and dividing it by the previous number 128 and i did the same to the rest of the numbers and found the common ratio of 4

Answer:

2048 *( (1)/(4) ) {}^(x)

Explanation:

Objective:Functions

The table of values range and domain isn't proportional so the answer is exponential.

A exponential function is represented by

ab {}^(x)

The y values are decreasing by a common ratio of 4 so our b(our base) cant be negative so it will be

(1)/(4)

b=1/4 so plug that in our expression.

a( (1)/(4) ) {}^(x)

Let plug in 1,512.

a( (1)/(4) ) {}^(1) = 512

(1)/(4) a = 512

a = 2048

So our function is

2048 * ( (1)/(4) ) {}^(x)
