If xy=13 and both x and y are positive integers, then what is the sum of x+y2? positive integers,

Answer:

15 and/or 27

Explanation:

since 13 is a prime number xy can either =13×1 or 1×13

So...x+y2

13+1(2)

13+2=15

Or

x+y2

1+13(2)

1+26=27

Since the question mentioned ¨ positive integers,¨ I´m guessing there is a possibility of two answers.
