To calculate the surface area of your sub box, you need to find the total amount of square inches on all six sides of the box.

Given the dimensions:

Height (h) = 14 inches

Width (w) = 14 inches

Depth (d) = 14 inches

The formula for the surface area of a rectangular box is:

Surface Area = 2*(hw + wd + h*d)

Substitute the values:

Surface Area = 2*(1414 + 1414 + 1414)

Surface Area = 2(196 + 196 + 196)

Surface Area = 2*(588)

Surface Area = 1176 square inches

So, your sub box has a surface area of 1176 square inches.
