Slope-intercept

The form for slope-intercept is:

\sf{y=mx+b}

where m is our slope and b is our y-intercept.

The line's equation is in standard form, and we need to convert it to

y = mx + b.

Given equation:

\sf{2x-10y=-20}

Subtract 2x from both sides

\sf{-10y=-20-2x}

Remove each minus

\sf{10y=20+2x}

Now, divide each term by 10

\sf{y=\cfrac{20}{10}+\cfrac{2}{10}x}

\sf{y=2+\cfrac{1}{5}x}

\stackrel{answer}{\boxed{\sf{y=\cfrac{1}{5}x+2}}}
