Answer: The Starry Night
Step-by-step explanation:
Vincent Van Goph was one of the greatest and inspirational painters of all time, but he had some flaws.
He was a good kid, but since birth, he suffered with mental issues even though he was raised in a good environment. As an adult he got depressed and painting was his way to cope with it. Throughout the 1880s he painted a lot of pieces.
His mental issues were bugging him though, and to cope with it he ate buckets of paint which was a result of his pica, an eating disorder where you get addicted to eating an unusual things.
Because of this, he got put into a mental asylum in 1889, and by that time, Goph was feeling really depressed. Putting all that aside, he started focusing more on his artwork and created more paintings then he ever had before his death in 1890.
His most famous artwork was The Starry Night, which he had painted while in his room at the asylum to depict his view from the window in his room. It went on to be by far his best piece and is now in the Museum of Modern art in New York City.
Hope that helped a lot. Let me know any further questions.
