Explanation:

Mid Point Formula = (x1+x2/2; y1+y2/2)

Co ordinate of Point A = (-9,-4)

Co ordinate of Point C = (-1, 6)

Co ordinate of midpoint B = [(-9) + (-1)/2 ; (-4) + 6/2]

= ( -10/2; 2/2)

= (-5, 1)

Therefore, co ordinate of mid point B is (-5,1)

Co ordinate of Point B = (-5,1)

Co ordinate of Mid Point E = (-4,-3)

Co ordinate of point D = (x, y)

-4 = x + (-5)/2 ; -3 = y + 1/2

-4×2 = x - 5; -3×2 = y + 1

-8 + 5 = x ; -6 - 1 = y

-3 = x ; -7 = y

Therefore, co ordinate of Point D is (-3,-7)
