Capitalism is an economic system through which the large-scale production of goods and services is advocated, their commercialization in the market privately, and the accumulation of capital to use it to promote more economic production and more consumption.

Thus, through this system, a mass production was generated and therefore consumption, generating that it became purely subsistence to cover not only the basic needs of individuals, but also promoting the consumption of goods of luxury, leisure and, in general, all those that exceeded food or health issues.
