Answer: d=√(13)

Step-by-step explanation: using distance formula d=√((x2 – x1)² + (y2 – y1)²)

we get point 1 being (-5, 9) and point 2 being (-2, 7) so using this formula we get

d=√((-2 + 5)² + (7 – 9)²)

d=√((3)² + (-2)²)

d=√(9 + 4)

d=√(13)

as 13 is prime sqr 13 is your final answer

the distance formula is derived form Pythagoreans therom as the distance could be represented as a c length so drawing a right triangle may help in the future :)
