Given;

g(x)= -3/2x-9

g(x) = -48

Since, g(x) values are different We have to make it both equal,

-48 = -3/2x-9

or, -48=-3-18x/2x..................................(multiplying 9 by 2x)

or, -48×2x=-3-18x

or, -96x= -3-18x

or, -96x+18x = -3

or, -78x= -3

or, - x= -3/78

Cutting both - signs,

or, x=1/26

Therefore, x=1/26
