I think that the government has the most power and influence over business and society. This is because the government has the power to make and enforce laws, rules, and policies that have a direct effect on what businesses and people do. Governments also have the power to collect taxes, give subsidies, and help businesses in other ways that can have a big effect on how they run and how successful they are. Also, governments can start or stop wars and trade deals, which can have a big effect on business and society as a whole.

Moreover, the government's authority to levy taxes, provide subsidies, and offer various forms of support can dramatically influence the operational efficiency and success of businesses. Also, the government's ability to initiate or cease wars and negotiate trade deals profoundly impacts both the business sector and society.

Given the clear and significant influences the government can exert, these examples solidify my belief that the government holds the most power and sway over businesses and society.
