What is similar between a hunter gather society and a pastoral society? What is different between these two societies?

Answer: For hunter-gatherer societies, the primary means of subsistence are wild plants and animals. Hunter-gatherers are nomadic and non-hierarchical. Archeological data suggests that all humans were hunter gatherers prior to 13,000 BCE. For pastoral societies, the primary means of subsistence are domesticated livestock.
