Answer:

Ravi got 26 marks and Suma got 134 marks.

Explanation:

Let's denote Ravi's marks as "x" and Suma's marks as "y".

According to the given information:

Suma got 4 marks more than five times Ravi's marks: y = 5x + 4

Together their marks were 160: x + y = 160

Now we can substitute the value of y from the first equation into the second equation:

x + (5x + 4) = 160

Simplify the equation:

6x + 4 = 160

Subtract 4 from both sides:

6x = 156

Divide both sides by 6:

x = 26

Now that we have Ravi's marks, we can substitute it back into the equation for Suma's marks:

y = 5x + 4 = 5(26) + 4 = 130 + 4 = 134

So, Ravi got 26 marks and Suma got 134 marks.
