A coin is dropped from a hot-air ballin that is 300m above the ground and siding at 10m/s upward. For the coin, find the maximum height reaches in meters

Answer:

H = V0 t - 1/2 g t^2 V0 and g are in different direct directions

H = 10 * t - 10 / 2 * 1^2 = 5 m

The coin will reach a height of 5 m above its starting point

Maximum height of coin = 305 m

Note: Vf / g = t = 10 m/s / 10m/s^2 = 1 sec time to slow to zero (coin)
