The sequence is going in 5’s so when we want to know the 74th term, we have to make a formula so we can get the correct answer.
-18, -13, 8 is all going in 5’s so if we subtract 5 from -18 (-18-5= -23)

We get the formula:
5n-23

We know that 5 x n= is 5n so we know that it is multipled.

n=74 because we want the 74th term

5 x 74 - 23 = 347

I hope this helps, if you didn’t understand it properly. Feel free to comment or message me.
