0.5x - 0.3(0.2x + 5) = 0.4x - 3
0.5x - 0.06x + 1.5 = 0.4x - 3
0.44x + 1.5 - 1.5 = 0.4x - 3 - 1.5
0.44x = 0.4x - 4.5
0.44x - 0.4x = 0.4x - 0.4x - 4.5
0.04x = - 4.5
x = - 112.5
