Answer:

x=10

Explanation:

125 can be expressed as 5 × 5 × 5

5 × 5 × 5 can also be expressed as 5^3.

Then, we add the power 'x' we have into it, so it's like a double powered number!

We do the same to the second number as well.

Now, we know that brackets, means multiplying. So, we have to multiply the both powers!

5^3 × x = 5^2 × (x + 5)

Here, we do algebra 3 × x is 3x, and 2 × (x + 5) is 2x + 10! After we do that, we get answer as

5^ 3x = 5^2x + 10

Now, we need to find x! So, we don't need the 5's anymore. So we take them out, and it looks like this!

3x = 2x + 10

Now, we do the transposing! We know that, when we shift a number to the other side of the equals sign, the sign becomes opposite! Plus becomes minus, So we get:

3x - 2x = 10

Now, obviously, 3x - 2x is, 1x which is equal to x!

So, our final answer is

x = 10!

So, we got our answer! Hope it helped!
