A= 600 = 5b = 5(3c)
600= 5* 3* c
600/15 = c = 40

Answer:

c = 40

Explanation:

given

a = 5b and

b = 3c

substitute b = 3c into a = 5b , that is

a = 5(3c) = 15c

given a = 600, then

600 = 15c ( divide both sides by 15 )

(600)/(15) =
(15)/(15) c , simplify

40 = c
