Explanation: In the midst of the Industrial Revolution, there was still a lack of transportation. while the steam engine was already invented, it was very inefficient and wasn't used commercially. James Watt greatly improved the steam engine by getting rid of most of the problems it faced by greatly reducing the waste and pollution that was produced by the previous steam engine. James Watt improved the results of the Industrial Revolution by allowing for more job options over a larger area, as Watt's engine was over 2 times faster then the previous version.
