a - b = 30 ----- eqⁿ(1)

they are complementary angles

i.e

a + b = 90 ----- eqⁿ(2)

through Elimination method

eqⁿ(2) - eqⁿ(1)

b = 30

putting value of b in eqⁿ(1)

a - 30 = 30

a = 30 + 30

a = 60
