A triangle has a base of x1/2 m and a height of x1/2 m. If the area of the triangle is 32 m^2 what are the base and height of the​ triangle?

Explanation:

I am not sure I understand the numbers in the description, but I assume you meant that

the baseline is x/2 meter,

the height to the baseline is also x/2 meter.

the area is 32 m².

the area of a triangle is

baseline × height / 2.

so, here we have

32 = x/2 × x/2 / 2 = x²/4 / 2 = x²/8

x² = 32×8 = 256

x = 16 m

so the base and the height are both 16/2 = 8 m long.
