1. x=-1 and y=10

You can get y by itself in 3x+y=7 by subtracting 3x from both sides, this gives you that y=7-3x. Then you plug this into the other equation 4x+2y=16 to get 4x+2(7-3x)=16. Simplify to get 4x+14-6x=16. -2x=2 and -2/2 gives you x=-1. Then, plug -1 into 3(-1)+y=7, -3+y=7, 7+3=10 so y=10.

You can use the same method for the other questions

2. x=2 and y=1

3. x=-12 and y=7

4. x=0 and y=-7 (this question might be wrong because I got undf for x)

5. x=11/5 and y=14/5

6. x=2 and y=1

7. x=3 and y=2

8. x=-1 and y=3

9. x=6 and y=-3

If you are unsure with the answers you can just plug in the numbers I gave you to make sure it's right if it's not right lmk
