A successful conservation effort was done by the Muesum of Natural history, eagle eggs were found but the Nest was destroyed. They were incubated at the museum, then they tried to get the newly hatched eaglets to eat, using food from an eyedropper. Later, an eagle's head hand puppet was used to feed bits of meat to the birds. The museum built a nest in a tree, and taught the birds to fly down from the nest. They were finally able to fly down and get their own food, and they were released into the wildlife preserve with other eagles.
