Israel is a recognized country with its own government and borders. However, when we talk about the territories like the West Bank and Gaza Strip, it gets a bit complicated. These areas are considered occupied territories, and the people living there, who are mainly Palestinians, don’t have their own fully independent country. They’re hoping to have their own nation someday, but that hasn’t happened yet due to various reasons, including political challenges and negotiations. So, while Israel is a country, the situation in the occupied territories is more uncertain.
