6 cans would be worth $15.

1. Set up problem as 2 fractions

Numerator: Number of Cans
Denominator: Price

4/10 ; 6/x

*use variable (x) to represent the cost of 6 cans which you don’t know yet.

2. Then set the 2 fractions equal to each other and cross multiply.

4/10 = 6/x
4x = 6(10)
4x = 60
x = 15

Which is how you get $15
