To do this we have to use a formula, and both are already in slope intercept form which we would use y=mx+b. So we have x+3, and 3x-3. Now we have to solve for x. So we have x+3=3x-3. x we can say it is 1, so we would subract x from 3x which is 2x and then we subract 3 from negative 3 which is we would have -6. So now we have 2x=-6. Remeber you have to opposite operations in these equations. So if we have +3 then we have to do subraction. So now we have 2x=-6. We divide -6/-2 which is 3. Remeber opposite operations. Now we plug 3 in as x for the first equation and solve for y. so x would be 3. Now we have 3+3=6 which is y. The point of intersection would be (3,6)
