Explanation:

for multiplications the brackets have no meaning.

ab = ba

abc = cba = acb = cab = bac = bca

and so on.

so,

7x(6x) = 7x6x

and when we now multiply things we can directly multiply with each other (like constant numbers and the same variables), we get

7×6×x×x = 42x²
